  9. NEC register on behalf of you for a webinar that you participate in (the webinar uses ZOOM webinar).
  10. (2) To respond to inquiries and requests relevant to the event
  11. (3) To provide solution proposals (analysis of customer needs, product/service development, assessment, etc.)
  12. (4) To provide information relevant to the event (direct marketing, email, phone, etc.)
  13. (5) To contact customers for any further follow-up in communications.

  14. 3. Legal Basis for Processing

  15. The legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent freely given by accepting this privacy policy.

  16. 4. Recipients of the Personal Data

  17. Upon the assurance that sufficient safety control measures have been established, and having concluded agreements concerning the processing of personal data, NEC and NEC Group companies, NEC affiliates throughout the world and distributors in the United States receive your personal data within the scope of the purposes stated above.
  18. We also provide your personal data to Zoom Video Communications, Inc., with whom we have concluded outsourcing agreement for management of the event, whose server is located in the United States.

  19. 5. Overseas Transfer of the Personal Data

  20. NEC manages and operates this Aurora Forum Webinar event registration page in Japan.
  21. (1) Information transfer to a third country: After the submission of your personal information, your data will be sent to Japan.
  22. (2) Existence or absence of an adequacy decision by the European Commission: As of January 23rd, 2019, Japan has been recognized by the European Commission as providing adequate protection of personal data.

(3) Appropriate protection measures: NEC manages the personal data with which it is entrusted through the appropriate implementation of security measures such as access identification and authentication, restrictions on access, authority management, record-keeping, protection against illegal software, and safe procedures for transferring and transmitting data.
